Review

I’ve been driving the 2023 Sportage since late 2023 — all-wheel drive, 1.6 diesel. The off-road capability is truly impressive: through mud and snow it pulls like a tank or a tractor, no obstacle can stop it. The design is also top-notch: the car looks stylish and turns heads.
However, the fuel consumption leaves mixed feelings: 8 liters in the city — what a joke! I thought diesel should be economical, but it drinks like my neighbor at a weekend barbecue.
And the multimedia — that’s a whole other story: turn on Bluetooth and the system freezes, like I’m still in 2005, forcing me to listen to music in half quality.
Overall, the car is great — the Koreans did a good job, but I’ve already gotten used to the fuel consumption and the screen “freezes.”
