Bought a brand new 2020 Ceed (1.0L, 120 hp, manual, Classic) in spring 2020. Mostly drive in the city for work and meetings, with a couple of highway trips per month. LED headlights are excellent — night visibility is great. Servicing is inexpensive, done around every 11,000 km. However, the paint on the hood is very thin: two stone chips appeared within six months, had to touch them up myself. The engine hesitates when overtaking after 100 km/h, needing to rev up to 3,000 rpm. At speeds over 120 km/h, tire and wind noise are quite noticeable. Perfect for calm city and suburban driving, but for long trips it’s worth budgeting for soundproofing and a stronger engine.

Got a 2020 Ceed (1.5 L) for business trips around the region. In 60,000 km it has never let me down — only scheduled maintenance. The multimedia system with an 8-inch screen and CarPlay connects instantly, navigation launches without lag. Steering is very precise, takes corners confidently, no body roll. However, in cold weather, a plastic creak appeared under the rear doors — annoying, especially on bumps. The air conditioner struggles at +30°C until the cabin is fully cooled. Side mirrors could be taller and larger — the rear-view camera often helps when parking. Overall, practical and reliable, but a few small things could be improved.

Bought a 2020 Ceed (1.4L, 140 hp, automatic, Comfort) with 10,000 km in 2021 from a friend. I drive it in the city and to the countryside — sometimes making trips of 300–400 km at a time. Fuel consumption stays around 7 L/100 km in the city and about 5.5 L/100 km on the highway. The 395-liter trunk is truly spacious: stroller, bags, tools fit with no issues. The seven-year warranty is reassuring — no major problems, just regular oil and filter changes. However, above 110 km/h, tire and wind noise becomes tiring. The suspension is rather stiff: over speed bumps and uneven roads the car bounces. Overtaking requires patience: the engine only wakes up after 2,500 rpm and won’t accelerate spontaneously. Good for smooth family driving, but dynamic driving fans should look at the turbo version.
