Bespoke commissions are becoming more prominent
Ferrari has historically been associated primarily with Rosso Corsa red. However, many modern owners are choosing rarer colors and more extensive personalization programs. The brand's standard palette includes several basic options, but Tailor Made offers considerably more possibilities: customers can order a nonstandard exterior color, special interior trim, unique graphics, and custom material combinations.
Such commissions generally require lengthy preparation and substantially increase the vehicle's final price. In some cases, bespoke finishes can account for a significant portion of the car's total cost, particularly when complex multilayer paint, exposed carbon fiber, and exclusive interior materials are used.
Verde Volterra exterior paint
This Ferrari SF90 XX is finished in Verde Volterra. The color was first used in 2022 during the Ferrari Cavalcade event marking the 10th anniversary of the company's customer tour. Its multilayer composition changes in appearance depending on the lighting, combining green and brownish tones.
The owner selected contrasting orange accents for several exterior details. The hood and rear wing received a clear finish that leaves the carbon-fiber weave visible. This treatment emphasizes the SF90 XX's racing character and distinguishes the car from more traditional single-color versions of the model.
Orange-and-black cabin with carbon fiber
Alcantara is the primary material used throughout the interior. Orange takes center stage on the seats and door panels, complemented by black inserts, contrasting stitching, embroidered Ferrari emblems, and extensive exposed carbon-fiber trim.
The cabin continues the exterior's overall theme, combining vivid accents with technical materials commonly associated with track cars. The dashboard architecture, controls, and overall layout remain standard for the SF90 XX.
Unchanged hybrid powertrain
The vehicle received no mechanical modifications. The Ferrari SF90 XX uses a hybrid system built around a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 and three electric motors. One is integrated into the automatic transmission, while the other two are mounted on the front axle and provide all-wheel drive.
The powertrain produces a combined 1,016 hp (1,030 PS). Compared with the standard SF90, the XX version features revised aerodynamic components and weighs approximately 22 pounds (10 kg) less. The model is designed for use on both public roads and racetracks.
A rare version with a distinctive identity
Ferrari produced only 799 examples of the SF90 XX coupe. Every car was allocated to customers when the model debuted in 2023. The coupe's base price was approximately €770,000 before personalization options.
This example demonstrates the capabilities of the Tailor Made program: even a limited-production model can receive a design that stands apart from the rest of the series. In this case, Ferrari retained the SF90 XX's original mechanical specification and focused exclusively on personalizing the exterior and interior.
