I’ve been driving a Leaf since 2019. I charge it at home and spend very little, parking in the city is easy. Range is 200 km, much less in winter (around 160), and it’s noisy on the highway. A good car for short city trips that pays for itself.

The Leaf is awesome, guys! Bought it in 2020, been driving it for the second year, haven’t put a drop of gas in it (haha, how could I if it doesn’t even have a gas tank haha). Nature will thank me! It drives smoothly and quietly, feels like flying, and in traffic it’s pure bliss, no vibrations. But the battery, damn, is a bit weak — in winter only 150 km and then you’re hunting for an outlet, with few good stations, especially outside the city. Still, it’s a cool car, perfect for eco-freaks like me, just get it and don’t worry!

Got a 2018 Leaf in 2021, with a 40 kWh battery and 50,000 km mileage. I drive around the city, save a ton on gas, and charge at home overnight – costs next to nothing. The cabin is silent, like in space, no engine noise – pure bliss. But the real range is only about 200–220 km, dropping to 180 in winter, so it’s not enough for highway trips. Charging also takes a long time: if not at home, you end up sitting at stations for hours. Perfect for city driving, but not for long trips. Still satisfied, no plans to change.
