I bought this Tucson in the “Elegance” trim with a 2.0-liter engine and all-wheel drive from an official dealer. Before that, I had nearly twenty years of experience with German (BMW 3, 5 Series, X5) and Japanese (Mitsubishi Pajero Sport, Toyota Prado) cars. What I liked: – Koreans know how to design stylish, modern-looking cars. – On the highway, it holds its line confidently, even in faster corners. – The suspension is tuned a bit softer than many crossovers, smoothing out bumps. – In Sport mode, the engine responds eagerly to the throttle. What disappointed me: – Poor right-side visibility, with a narrow window and thick pillar, and the rear camera gets dirty quickly. – The gearbox sometimes engine-brakes on its own. – Dirt collects on the inner door sills. – Button and switch layout feels chaotic. Overall: An interesting experience, but I don’t regret selling it. A nice crossover with some irritating quirks.

The Tucson is pure joy. Bought in 2021, 2.0 petrol, all-wheel drive — looks like a beast, turns heads, and drives fast, tearing up the highway! The cabin is spacious, the trunk is roomy — perfect for family trips and barbecues. But the suspension is stiff, every bump feels like a hit, my back aches after long drives, and small things can be annoying — a button creaks, the screen freezes sometimes. Still, it’s an awesome car — style and power in one package.

Bought a 2020 Tucson at the beginning of 2022 with 20,000 km on it, 2.0 petrol, front-wheel drive. The car is comfortable, seats are supportive, and my back doesn’t get tired even after long trips. The exterior still looks great – I still enjoy its design. I drive mostly in the city and occasionally on highways, steering is easy, and ground clearance is fine for our roads. However, fuel consumption is higher than expected: 10–11 liters in the city, around 8 on the highway, and sound insulation is weak – after 100 km/h you can hear tire noise. So far I’m satisfied, only did regular maintenance in two years, but I wouldn’t call it economical.
