Spacious cabin, quick acceleration, great multimedia, efficient consumption
Weak sound insulation, small trunk, expensive servicing
I got a 2022 Hyundai Ioniq 5, electric, all-wheel drive, 305 hp, top trim with a panoramic roof and lots of features. Mostly drive in the city, sometimes hit the highway. The car is really quick, accelerates like a rocket, especially in sport mode. Cabin is spacious, even tall friends sit comfortably. Multimedia with a big screen is nice, but sometimes lags when connecting via Apple CarPlay. The trunk isn’t very large, and sound insulation is weak on the highway, especially over 100 km/h. Servicing at the dealer is pricey, but so far everything is under warranty. Battery holds well — about 400 km in summer city driving, 300–320 km in winter. Great choice if you love tech and performance, but if you need a huge trunk or top-notch soundproofing, think twice.
