Kia has shown that even a family minivan can deliver a high degree of comfort traditionally associated with luxury vehicles.
Why an MPV?
In Europe and Ukraine, the segment of large minivans has largely given way to crossovers and SUVs. However, in Asia, particularly in China and Korea, MPVs continue to represent maximum comfort and status. Their spacious body, convenient access, and reasonable fuel consumption make them suitable for both family and corporate use. Kia has gone further by creating a version focused on just four seats.
HiLimousine — A Minivan Without Compromises
The fourth generation Kia Carnival was introduced in 2020, followed by the HiLimousine variant. The raised roof provides noticeably more interior space. In the Signature version, there are only four seats, each designed with a high level of refinement.

- Captain's chairs with electric adjustment
- Heating, ventilation, and massage
- Footrests with foot massage function (new for 2026)
- Folding tables and dedicated shoe storage
A 7-inch control screen positioned between the seats operates the 21.5-inch ceiling monitor, the 12-speaker Bose audio system, and climate settings. Additional features include a refrigerator, wireless smartphone charging, and clothes hangers.

Comfort in Every Detail
The cabin features softer carpeting that contributes to noise reduction and comfort. Air suspension with recalibrated dampers provides a smooth ride, while enhanced sound insulation maintains a quiet interior.
Powertrain Options
In Korea, two powertrains are available:
- 3.5-liter V6 gasoline engine with 294 hp
- 1.6-liter hybrid system with 245 hp
Pricing in Korea starts at approximately 63,000 € for the base HiLimousine with the V6 and reaches around 97,000 € for the top hybrid Signature version. This positions the vehicle in the premium segment, offering substantial interior space and comfort.

Market Perspective
The Kia Carnival HiLimousine offers a high level of rear-seat comfort, positioning it as a mobile lounge or workspace. While its popularity may differ by region, it addresses a specific demand for passenger-focused luxury in certain markets.
