Driving an Octavia since 2019, 1.6 petrol. Reliable, 7–8 liters per 100 km, no breakdowns. Poor sound insulation, stiff suspension. A good car for city and work.

The Octavia is just top-notch! Got it in 2020, 1.4 turbo, 150 hp, looks great and turns heads, trunk is huge and fits anything you want. Drives lively, a joy in the city. But it’s noisy like a tractor, after 110 km/h your ears suffer, and the engine feels weak on the highway when overtaking. Still, it’s an awesome car – perfect for life and style.

I bought a 2019 Skoda Octavia in 2020, liftback, 1.6 petrol engine with 110 hp, mileage was 25,000 km. The trunk is huge, perfect for family or trips to the countryside, fits everything you need. Fuel economy is good: 7–8 liters in the city, 6 on the highway, which is fine for this class. Reliability is solid – in three years only regular maintenance, no breakdowns. However, noise insulation is weak – above 100 km/h you can hear the tires and engine, and the cabin is not as quiet as you’d like. The suspension is a bit stiff, you feel bumps, especially on bad roads. So if your roads are bad – think twice. A practical car, a good choice for daily use, I like it.
