Bought a 2024 Mazda CX-90 in the 3.3L e-Skyactiv G I6 version (mild hybrid), all-wheel drive, overall expected a large family crossover and got a car that drives like it's a bit smaller in size but very confidently. The cabin is genuinely nice, you sit comfortably, materials aren't cheap, you can feel it's not just another mass-market crossover — handles almost like a sedan, comfortable to drive on highway and in city in mixed mode. Engine is torquey, acceleration is good, but there's that moment when the system switches between electric motor and ICE — sometimes you feel jerks, not always clear what's happening, noticeable in calm driving. I've seen this jerky switching in other owners' reviews, and it happens to me too Multimedia sometimes lets down: phone loses connection, navigation via CarPlay can disappear or freeze, have to restart the system — annoying, especially on trips when you need to quickly check the route. Trunk, if you go for the 6-seat configuration, is severely limited. Under warranty did scheduled service, no major breakdowns, but minor issues like odd system responses or noises might not be recognized as problems, just like in similar situations with Mazda owners. Car for those looking for a large comfortable crossover with a powerful engine and good handling, CX-90 will do if you're ready to put up with small glitches in the electronics
