Mazda CX-50 2022, 2.5 AT S Premium Plus trim, all-wheel drive, automatic, 2.5L, 192 hp. Bought new from the dealership, was choosing between CX-5 and CX-50 – picked this one for its rugged exterior and neat interior. I drive in mixed mode – city and highway. The car drives confidently, steering is precise, suspension is well-tuned – not too stiff, not too soft. On the highway it stays stable and doesn't sway. Fuel consumption is around 10 liters on average if not pushing hard. The cabin is spacious, especially in the front; the rear fits three adults, but it's a bit tight for long trips. The multimedia system is a bit raw. CarPlay works but sometimes lags, especially over USB, and the screen can freeze, requiring a restart. The 360-degree cameras are small, and almost useless at night. Stock audio is weak, so I installed additional speakers. The trunk is roomy, fitting a stroller and bags, but the foot-activated tailgate doesn't always work. I do maintenance at the dealer – no complaints so far, but parts are expensive, especially originals. Warranty works; for multimedia issues, they updated the firmware – slightly better now, but not perfect. Overall, I’m happy with the car. For those seeking a stylish, spacious crossover with good handling, the CX-50 is a solid choice. Not without flaws, but overall a good vehicle. If the multimedia and service costs don't bother you – go for it.
