Review

I have a 2024 BMW X4, 2.0 turbo engine, 249 hp, 8-speed automatic. Bought it new, wanted something not boring, and that drives well. Straight up – the car isn't for those who like smooth cruising, it's about drive.

Steering is spot on, sharp, holds dead steady at speed, pure joy in turns. Acceleration is quick, about 6 seconds to 100, ZF box works smooth if not flooring it, but in sport mode it pins you to the seat. Fuel around 10 liters city, highway 7, max 8 if you push.

Suspension is rock hard. Super on smooth roads, but hit a pothole and it shakes, especially on these RunFlat tires that are like bricks. Thinking of switching to regular ones for softer ride.

Interior is beautiful, everything comfy, leather good, no creaks. Multimedia acts up sometimes, Bluetooth won't connect or freezes – like with everyone. Sound insulation ok, but at 130 you hear the tires.

Maintenance expensive, but so far all good. Changed oil and filters, nothing broke. Drove in heat and cold, starts on half turn, heater works fast.

In short, happy with the car, drives lively, looks cool. But if you want soft and no nerves – not your thing. It's a Beemer, for those who love drive with soul.
