Comfortable and well-built cabin, spacious trunk (easily fits a stroller), confident handling with adaptive cruise control, noticeable sound insulation on the highway
Multimedia sometimes lags and needs a reboot, adaptive cruise can be overly cautious with sudden braking in the city, expensive maintenance and sensitivity to service quality
I bought a 2020 Audi A6 2.0 TFSI 245 hp quattro in the S line trim about a year and a half ago. I drive in mixed mode – city/highway, mostly commuting to work and a couple of out-of-town trips. The car feels heavy but responds well to steering. On the highway, it’s pure pleasure – quiet, the suspension absorbs bumps, and the adaptive cruise control really helps you relax. In the city, it sometimes reacts too sharply, as if startled, which can be a bit annoying. Sound insulation is good, the engine is barely audible, especially when the kids are sleeping in the back, and the trunk easily swallows a stroller with room to spare.
The cabin is pleasant, materials are decent, but the multimedia is another story – it occasionally freezes or lags, and I had to restart it manually as suggested on forums. Maintenance is done at the official dealer; during the warranty, minor issues were fixed without question, but afterward, the cost of service became noticeable, and you have to be careful choosing a workshop.
Conclusion: A car for those who value comfort, handling, and well-thought-out electronics (even if not perfect) and are willing to pay for upkeep.
